Australian Employers Network on Disability

The Employers' Network, with the support of the Department of Disability, Ageing and Home Care, has been rolling out training programs across regional NSW, visiting places including Bathurst, Orange, Wollongong, Newcastle, Kempsey, Ballina and many other areas.

This training has been designed to assist Transition to Work (TTW) providers to build disability confidence and develop the specific skills and knowledge required to effectively assist their clients with disability into work.  The training program focuses on building rapport with employers and gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the skills and attributes employers look for in candidates.

The TTW program is run by DADHC and supports school leavers with disability to develop the skills and capabilities they need to move into employment.
