The winners of the 2006 Prime Minister's Employer of the Year Awards 2006 were Benbro Electronics, who were also inducted into the Hall of Fame. These awards recognise excellence in the employment of people with disability. Benbro Electronics, founding members of the Australian Employers Network on Disability, have a long history of employing people with disability, and the success of their business is a clear indication of the benefits employing people with disability can bring to an organisation.
