The Australian Employers Network on Disability holds several events throughout the year, designed to provide up to the minute information on disability as it affects business and employment, and give members an opportunity to meet and discuss issues that are relevant to them.
Member seminars are held throughout the year providing attendees with the opportunity to hear presentations and engage in discussion about a particular topic. Past seminars have been focused on "Disclosure of Disability", "Mental Health" and “Decoding Disability”. Breakfast Briefings Four breakfast briefings are held in Sydney and in other states as requested by our members. The briefings are an opportunity for businesses interested in issues surrounding disability as it affects business to engage with our member network whilst taking away relevant information pertaining to given topic. Member Networking Lunches A new style of event, Member Networking Lunches are exclusively for members, and are held as requested. The lunches are informal roundtable discussions on a particular topic of interest. All our events provide an opportunity for businesses to actively participate in the disability agenda as it affects business. |
